Well, it’s great to see that SOME PEOPLE at NYU and the University of Chicago aren’t PARSING PRONOUNS or ASSIGNING GENDERS, the latter being, after all, only THEORETICAL CONSTRUCTS.
Yet, this, too, is a bit worrying as it takes us one step closer to ARTIFICIAL LIFE — assuming we’re not SIMULATING human experience already — and the entire ETHICAL CONUNUDRUM that will entail.
Still, this is an AMAZING DEVELOPMENT.
