Who doesn’t remember well when the Japanese took control of the US auto market in the late 1980’s?  But that was only a tactical victory.  The real takeover followed the briefly successful Ford Taurus counterattack of 1992 through 1996.

But compared to that, here’s what STRATEGIC VICTORY has looked like.

Over the last 24 years, Japanese manufacturers have had the best selling car in the US — EVERY YEAR.  And while the Honda Accord was number one for ONE of those years, the Toyota Camry has been the best seller in the other 23.   Including EVERY YEAR since 2002.

THAT’S NINETEEN STRAIGHT YEARS.

Does Toyota know how to build cars or what?

Makes you wonder to WHOM “citizens” will one day PLEDGE THEIR ALLEGIANCE.

Assuming there’s allegiance left to pledge.

Note which countries Apple is larger than.  Better yet, the FEW it’s still smaller than.

California Postpones New Social Justice Math Framework

There are far too many bright people in California to allow the SJW MOVEMENT to try to eviscerate the teaching of higher mathematics.  I mean, how LUDICROUS is the idea of mathematics as something inherently racist?

Are these SJW clowns smoking crack or what?

From the piece:

“California is on the verge of politicizing K-12 math in a potentially disastrous way,” Independent Institute senior fellow Williamson M. Evers said in a July 13 statement.

“This postponement means the state board of education has heard the message loud and clear. STEM leaders don’t want California students left behind by introducing politics into the math curriculum.”

MATH, YES!  NONSENSE, NO!

And not just with the Cuban people but also — and more vocally — WITH ITS GOVERNMENT.

At the same time, it blames the US for Cuban government repression.

But then what would you expect from a pro-communist organization?

After all, Angela Davis and her crowd — BLM’s precursors — were tucked into bed nicely with Castro and Che Guevara, even if NOT LITERALLY.  Or at least, not to my knowledge.

BLM is a fifth column on American soil.

Right, no more family,  personal-survival responsibility, patriotism, fixed identity or virtuous living.  THAT’S ALL OUT.

So then, where do young people now look for meaning?

1. Environment protection – climate change – sustainable development;
2. Veneration of non-Europeans – migrations – anti-racism; and
3. Gender mainstreaming

Correct.

Who’s pushing BLM, CRT and the 1619 Project?  Leftist intellectuals, entertainers and talking heads.  Many with next to NO PERSONAL SKIN IN THE GAME and — at least for now — LITTLE TO LOSE.

More from the piece:

“The three pillars of today’s white man’s civilization – environment protection, veneration of non-Europeans, and gender mainstreaming – fit the definition of a religion. Reason need not apply.”

And here’s how it’s playing out:

• Dissenting opinion labeled hate speech, fake news and conspiracy theories
• Little interest in engineering, the sciences or the economy
• An obsession with gender studies and critical race theory

In other words, DOLLOPS OF BULLSHIT slathered in jargon.

More from the piece:

“Communists in the Soviet Union and later in Eastern Europe, China, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Cuba also came up with new dogmas for young people to follow. Equality or equity – whichever term you prefer – were also among them. Nothing new under the sun.”

Well, to be precise, equality — if we’re talking OPPORTUNITY — is fine.  But equity of OUTCOME is nothing less than TOTALITARIAN LEVELING . . . which DESTROYS INCENTIVE  . . .

And, hence, the INDIVIDUAL.

What’s occurring now is nothing less than a full-on ATTACK ON ENLIGHTENMENT VALUES now reinterpreted as a kind of WHITE MAN’S premeditated conspiracy to ENSLAVE AND DOMINATE the rest of the world.

Fact is, the West not only INVENTED MODERNITY, it also WON THE BATTLE to control it.  But the WEST ISN’T FINISHED.  Just because there’s an insurrection afoot led by those with HALF-BAKED THEORIES doesn’t mean Newton, Locke and Jefferson simply get cast aside.

Because if they are, God help us.  And that includes those who believe that utopian socialism would solve all of our problems.  In fact, the best world possible is probably much closer to the one we’re living in now.

So, be careful what you wish for, kids!  Academics, entertainers and the media — the self-styled “righteous” — will dump you the moment you NO LONGER COUNT.

Plus, socialism — real socialism — isn’t for SNOWFLAKES.
